Italian Herb Mix

What is it?
Italian herb mix is a blend of classic Mediterranean herbs like red bell pepper, oregano and marjoram. It’s designed to deliver that unmistakable Italian flavor in one go, convenient and delicious!

Tip:
Use the mix as a base for tomato sauce, pizza, casseroles, or marinades. Add it early in stews so the flavors can develop, or sprinkle it over pasta at the end for a fresh herbal touch.

Fun Food Fact!
In some parts of Italy, a mix of herbs including oregano and thyme is even used to age cheese. Pecorino, for example, gets a herby rind that not only smells amazing but also protects the cheese from insects. So yes, Italian herbs aren’t just for your pizza they’re for your cheese too!

Recipe with Italian herb mix:
Make a quick herby tomato pasta! Sauté a chopped onion and garlic in olive oil. Add 1 can of diced tomatoes, 2 tsp Italian herb mix, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with spaghetti and grated Parmesan.
