Do you know what all you can do with pumpkin?

Did you know that pumpkins are not only delicious, but also versatile for cooking and as decoration!

Here are some fun facts and tips:

  1. Did you know that you can just eat the skin of a bottle pumpkin? Roast it in the oven for a crunchy snack or add it to your pumpkin soup for extra flavour and texture. That way, you won’t waste anything.
  2. You can roast the seeds of a pumpkin with a little oil and salt. This makes for a delicious crunchy snack: full of fibre and protein!
  3. Reuse a hollowed-out pumpkin as a vase for a beautiful and colourful book. It instantly adds a cosy and seasonal feel to your table.
  4. Did you make a big portion of pumpkin puree? No problem, as you can freeze it.
  5. A pumpkin is also great for use as decoration. For example, make small holes in a hollowed-out pumpkin and put a candle in it or hollow out small decorative pumpkins and use them as tealight holders.
